Members of the Joint Action Committee formed by the women from Basikhong area under Thongju Assembly constituency in Imphal east staged a sit in protest in Imphal yesterday condemning the blast at BSF sector headquarters at Koirengi.

2 BSF jawans were killed in the incident while at least three locals were injured in the blast. The protesters said the blast in a civilian area is highly condemnable.
