US President Donald Trump has backed India and called the Pulwama terrorist attack a ‘horrible situation’.

The US has urged Pakistan to fully cooperate with the investigation and punish anyone responsible.

Speaking to reporters at the Oval office, Trump said that he has watched and he is getting a lot of reports on the terror attack. His government will comment on the deadliest attack in India at an appropriate time. It would be wonderful if India and Pakistan get along.

40 of CRPF personnel were killed when a suicide bomber blew up an explosive-laden car near the 78-vehicle convoy in Pulwama, South Kashmir, on February 14.

The US State Department Deputy spokesperson Robert Palladino said that the US is in close communication with the Indian government not just to convey condolences but also to extend strong support to India.
