The 2019 CSWC-Golap Borbora Memorial Lecture was organised on Sunday under College Students Welfare Committee at the Assam State Museum in Guwahati.

The lecture was organised in collaboration with the Centre for South East Asian Studies and was presided by a ceremony to present the CSWC-Golap Borbora scholarship.

The event saw Dr Anupama Roy as the chief guest with Dr Nanigopal Mahanta and many others as guest members.

On her speech, Anupama Roy touched upon different dimensions of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill and NRC.

Dr Roy terming the Citizenship Bill communal said CAB has ripped apart the stable peace that existed in the Northeast.
