All eyes are set on the crucial meeting that is currently underway at the NEIGRIHMS administrative block to resolve the ongoing crisis at the cardiology department in the premier health institute.
The meeting assumes significance since the Meghalaya High Court took serious note of the stalemate and asked the concerned authorities to deliberate on the issue and break the deadlock. Besides the court also asked the NEIGRIHMS authorities to resume the OT services.
The meeting is being held under the chairmanship of NEIGRIHMS director DM Thappa, representatives from Central health ministry, Union and state governments, Amrit Pharmacy, HoD of Cardiology department Animesh Mishra.
