An Indian Army helicopter crashed in the hills at Yonphulla in Bhutan at around 1 pm on Friday.

Two pilots, one from the Indian army and the other from the Royal Bhutan Army were killed in the crash.

The single engine Cheetah helicopter was being flown by Lt Colonel Rajneesh Parmar of the Indian Army and Captain Kalzang Wangdi of Royal Bhutan Army.

According to reports, the chopper was on its way from Khirmu in Arunachal Pradesh to Yonphula in Bhutan.
