A video from Nagaland’s famous Hornbill Festival, featuring a unique guitar rendition of the national anthem has gone viral on social media and mesmerised netizens.

The video was shared by many and garnering thousands of views. Nagaland Minister and social media sensation Temjen Imna Along too shared the video on Facebook.

The clip shows Imnainla Jamir, an artist from Nagaland playing the National Anthem, “Jana Gana Mana” on the guitar at the inaugural event of the Hornbill Festival 2022 in Kisama Heritage Village, Kohima on December 1.

Soon after the video had gone viral, netizens showered love with lots of appreciation messages.

One of them said, “As a Youth from NorthEast India. It’s an excellent gesture by this girl at this event. NorthEast is the Powerhouse Of Our Beloved India.”
Another message read, “She deserves to be famous. She is the face of new India…so confident, always smiling, proudly playing National Anthem, playing it with heart, playing it in modern style… She’s truly representing

The inaugural ceremony of The Hornbill festival was graced by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar as Chief Guest.
