4 rhino poachers arrested in Assam

Four poachers have been arrested in connection with the Rhino poaching incident that took place on Friday in Assam.

A joint team of Gohpur police officials and Border Security Force initiated the operation and arrested the four poachers.

Among the four, one hails from Manipur and has been identified as V Sinmuanathang. The second poacher identified as Mong Vaiphei hails from Arunachal Pradesh. Two other poachers hail from Gohpur.

The poachers were accompanied by three others who entered the Kaziranga National Park armed with AK 47 and .303 Rifle.

Meanwhile, the team of poachers was led by one identified as Kaman.
