The ruling Mizo National Front launched its campaign today for the Lok Sabha polls and assembly by-election.
The party has fielded former Doordarshan director general C Lalrosanga for the lone Lok Sabha seat and former student leader Zothantluanga for assembly by-election.
Kicking off the campaign Chief Minister Zoramthanga said the upcoming polls will be a straight fight between his party and the Zoram People’s Movement-Congress alliance though there are some independent candidates too contesting the polls.
